Inspiring Mentor of the Year Recipients
-Larry Markle, Program Director of Fehribach Center at Eskenazi Health –“One mentee aptly describes Larry’s mentoring style as a “Swiss Army Knife” saying, “Larry possesses a knack for knowing what a particular situation calls for.”
-Rebecca Hutton, Leadership Indianapolis –“Rebecca is described by one mentee as a “true Hoosier luminary.” Rebecca’s coaching is effective, yet enjoyable. She tells her mentees, “Set goals. Come with an open mind. Bring enthusiasm and focus. And Have fun.”
-Mark Chamberlain, CEO of Lakeside Wealth Management– “A mentee explains: “Mark understands the difference between the emotional mentor and the logical mentor and has successfully learned how to use both effectively with our team.”
Inspiring Workplace of the Year Recipients
-netlogx – Small Workplace Mentoring Award – “This drove the “Diverse by Design” initiative at netlogx, which is the belief that a diverse organization must think about and address diversity in all aspects of the organization. To support the growth of women and minorities in STEM careers, netlogx works with the Indiana Latino Institute to expose Latino college students to career opportunities within the tech industry.”
-Old National Bank – Large Workplace Mentoring Award –“In May of 2014, Old National Bank launched its Achieve Ability professional mentoring program, which pairs young professionals with disabilities with Old National executives in a 10-month mentoring relationship. The Achieve Ability program has recruited mentees with disabilities ranging from spinal cord injury, to autism, to visual and auditory impairment.”
