Are you a student leader?
At College Mentors for Kids, we continually seek out dynamic emerging leaders who reflect the dedication and commitment to implement our mission of motivating children and communities to realize their potential by providing inspiration to transform lives, education to change attitudes and connections to increase opportunities. Starting a chapter of College Mentors for Kids is a significant undertaking, but will be a transformational and rewarding experience. You will gain first-hand experience in:
- Leadership
- Volunteer Management
- Marketing
- Delegation
- Public Speaking
And best of all, you will leave a legacy of service at your university that will serve children for years to come.

After reviewing your resume and letter(s) of recommendation, the staff at the College Mentors for Kids headquarters will research your community's local needs and resources, notifying you of any opportunities available. If College Mentors for Kids is able to expand to your community, we will schedule a day to meet with you. Our visit will serve as an interview for chapter leadership, but more importantly as an introduction to the transformation that will occur by becoming a chapter leader.
While none of the chapter leadership positions are paid, including the chapter president, we want you to be aware that this journey will equip you with invaluable experience, leadership and communication skills, and introduce you to new opportunities while having a significant impact on the lives of children and college students.
